Sorry if this a strange to any of you but I've searched high and low and haven't been able to find the name of this front sight and/or where I can find good quality images of it. I'm a 3D modeler and I've been stuck due to lack of any good reference for the sight. I'm particularly interested in what the back side of the front center post looks like. Not to worried about the rear sights I believe it's a Bo-Mar Adjustable.

If you are interested this is my model currently.

It's an Aristocrat.  I've move your topic to New Members; please introduce yourself a bit.

Thank you so much rwsem. And you're right I should probably introduce myself. I'm a 3D modeler and animator but I'm working towards my bachelors in the latter. In short I'll being doing Hollywood style CGI once I'm finished.

While I'm not a huge arms buff, I love the look of them. You appreciate it even more when you have to study every little detail of the object. This is the first time I have to model a revolver, it's been really fun learning all about the 715. So I hope in the future I can buy one when I can afford it. It a beautiful tool and I bet it's a lot of fun to shoot.

I'm actually kind of curious of what this forum is like. What do you guys enjoy doing besides the obvious. I could learn a lot from you guys so I hope you share. I'm always open to new things and idea's.

Who knows after I finish this model I might just keep adding to it different barrels, grips, sights, ect. And I would greatly appreciate any and all help.

Are you making " props"? Are you in Ca. ?

Sounds like you are very susceptible to an incurable case of dwas

Look around the sight, you'll see what's up. Get you a DW and you'll not regret that you did !! cool

Actually I live in FL and I guess you could call them props but for computers not real life. I'll be doing stuff like creating tornado's or planets imploding like at the end of Star Wars: Force Awakens, things akin to that.
