Hi,

Not much to say... Just traded for a DW and almost threw it away untill I did a web search and found this forum. A few minutes later my binding problem was no more!! THANKS!!

Now I just need my Hougue Grips and I'll feel better.Big Grin

BTW I won't post pics untill I clean up the finish. Works fine (now) but not real pretty.

Mabe someone could help. Mine (1981 Monson) fixed sights shots way high, any suggestions?  Yeah Yeah aim lower.....I mean a real fix?

ofcford, Welcometo the DWF Sign. Glad you got the binding straightened out. To lower point of impact(other than aiming lower) Try hotter ammo and or a taller front sight. Does your model 14 have interchangeable front sights or pinned in. Both can be changed just one is a lot easier. Theres a lot of great folks here and I am sure others will be along shortly with more and better info. good luck.

Welcome ofcford.  Since LB covered the sight problem, I'll just say welcome and don't forget the pics.

I agree, try some hotter ammo, and/or lighter weight bullets. The idea is that if the bullet leaves the barrel faster (spends less time travelling down the barrel), that the trajectory will be less affected by barrel rise during recoil. Does that make any sense?Smile How long is your barrel?

I'm glad you didn't throw it away, that would have been a real shame.Cry

Welcomeaboard, glad to have ya here!Laugh

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
