Closing one eye is not wrong. It's a matter of preference. There are times that I use both techniques. Do what works best for you!

My gun has arrived at my FFL dealer Precise Shooter in Lynnwood WA, north of Seattle.  Now we wait for the background check.  I hope it gets done before my class on Sunday.  Odds are against it.

When I got to Precise Shooter, it turned out they already *had* a 6" 715!  For roughly the same price as Kentucky Gun Shop.  It didn't show up on their inventory page, and I didn't think to call and ask them beforehand.  So if you know anyone in the Seattle area who's looking for one, go there I guess.

You should buy the one at Precise Shooter too. Have you heard of DWAS?

If you have any money left....Pick yourself up a Laser cartridge, and you can practice raising and dry firing, or raise and train the pistol on a fixed target. No ammo required, and you can practice at home. Some turn on when you pull the trigger, and some stay on all the time. You will be surprised to see what you think is dead on is not, and how much you move when you pull the trigger. Doesn't hurt to strengthen your forearms too.....I made a 10 lb. weight, rope, and broomstick handle gizmo that I would roll up and down for the wrists, and just holding the weight off the ground is a good isometric. Your gun will start to feel lighter after you put some time into it.
