I am new to this forum and glad to be here!
I inherited a Dan Wesson 357 (6" barrel) which was bought new in roughly 1980 or so. This revolver has adjustable rear sights and a red-ramped front sight. Just ordered the space guage and barrel tool in case I need to readjust the barrel or cylinder spacing down the road.
Don't know all that much about this gun except that it is in immaculate condition and is a dead-on shooter! (The Pachmyer rubber grips don't grab me; I've ordered a set of nice Hogue wood grips.)

Thanks for the confirmation. And the model designation. I know very little about this revolver other than what I've picked up on-line and of course from shooting her. She is dead-on POA accurate.
Any tips, suggestions, cleaning info, accessories, are very welcome. I am not new to firearms but I am new to this revolver.

Suggest you start in the Revolvers Forum, and Reloading, Gunsmithing, Grip Making. Just keep poking around.
I absolutely will. What a great forum!

Thanks everyone. Already ordered a guage and barrel tool from EWK yesterday, thanks to the info on this forum.
I have some questions that I will be posting in the Revolver forum here.
This site is a great resource!
