I am new to this forum from Central Florida. I like 4" barrel .357 handguns. I have a Ruger GP 100 and a S&W Model 19. I am picking up a Dan Wesson Model 15 later today. It is one of the kits but only has two barrels, a 2.5 and the 4. I am also picking up the Model 22. I have a friend who does not like them. I will post pictures after I get them.
I am looking forward to learning more about Dan Wesson firearms.

Welcome to DWF. It took me a fair number of years (and a fair number of DW revolvers and barrel assemblies) to understand that my perfect revolver is is 4" 357 Magnum, and that is the only revolver that I own.
The great feature of Dan Wesson revolvers is that you can fit your revolver to what you want, so feel free to experiment a bit, you can easily do that with DW.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have picked them up. They are hardly shot as the friend I bought them from is more of a semi-auto or black powder shooter. From the paperwork it looks like they were bought post 1979, but I do not know exactly when. I need to get time to take pictures, and get them out. He said he only shot them once, and as I know him, he probably did not put many rounds down range.
The price was embarrassingly cheap. $300 for both.
Best deal EVER. 👍👍👍. Now, keep your fingers of your left hand pushing the cylinder open when you eject cases. The cylinder tends to want to close when ejecting and the rachet will put nasty scratches on the sideplate and back of recoil shield. Keep the gun tilted to the left.
