Hi. I just found this forum through a Facebook link. 31 years ago I purchased a Dan Wesson Arms .357 CTG made in Monson MA from a pawn shop here in Cleveland. I didn't know much about this gun, it had only one barrel, was and is accurate, and I've kept it in like new condition. It has the original wood grips. It is a favorite of mine. While I don't intend to sell it but pass along to my kids, I am wondering if anyone can provide me with a ballpark value.

Welcome, its great to have you to the sight. What might be fun for you is to go to the site http://www.gunbroker.com. Be careful not to assume the all the sellers get rice right off, but with a little time you should get a feel for what guns like yours are going for on a national level.
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.
4 Monson Model 15's
1 Palmer FB 15
1 Rossi 357 Model 92 (lever)
1 CZ 75B

to the forum. Wow, 31 years with the same gun and kept in great shape. Well done. That one is definitely an heirloom. A gun like really has two prices. The lower one is what it would sell for to an unrelated third party. The other is its worth to your family. I'm sure any one of your kids will treasure it beyond dollars and cents.
My first handgun was an H&R model 686, a cheap 22 caliber revolver. It would sell for maybe $200 on GB. To my boys that thing is priceless. Many years ago my father-in-law at the time gave me a Browning Hi-Power that had been owned by his brother. Twenty years after his death, the boys of that family looked me up wanting to acquire that gun.
It is really great of you to think of your kids. It will be a cherished item, I'm sure.

You can edit the photo size prior to finalizing your post, I normally stay in the 800x640 range
Edit to add: Is there a particular Ponycar that lives with "ohioponycar"?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
