I just acquired a Model 22 Monson Pistol Pac. I'm itching to get out and try it out but we're still having Winter and just got out of the single digit temperatures today! Is there a way to associate the S/N with the year built?

The conventional wisdom is that it's real tough to correlate a S/N to a manufacture date with Dan Wessons. Elsewhere on this Forum is some S/N and original purchase date info, but it's pretty sparse. Just out of curiosity, would "corn heaven" be anywhere near Iowa?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Corn heaven would be Nebraska, home of the famous Cornhuskers!
