I have recently gotten back into firearms, handguns in particular, after 20+ years away from the game. My first purchase was a Sig Pro dual-tone .40 about 3 weeks ago.
But today, I tripped and fell into a used, very dirty Dan Wesson 357 for $180!! 6" lugged barrel, with a cracked grip. The gun fires flawlessly and I think most of the wear is from holster/glove compartment storage. I found a new Pachmayr Presentation grip on GunBroker. After a good scrubbing, I was very please to discover the weapon to be in much better shape than I thought. Can't wait to see how it handles with the new grip.

Sounds like you got a great deal. Welcome to DWF. I got back into shooting a few years ago, after about 20 years off. The only one I still had left from the first go round was my DW Model 15-it's got lots more company now.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
