[Image Can Not Be Found]" alt="" />[Image Can Not Be Found]" alt="" />[Image Can Not Be Found]" alt="" />Hi ! My dad and uncle allways had the DW's while I was growing up.I allways shot my Fathers 357 model 15-2 while young.Well I am just getting into the handgun shooting and was talking with my Dad and he was telling me he won a turkey at a shoot and none else scored one.He used his Dan Wesson and the others were using 45s and such"that thing shoots"he said.So I googled it,came across this sight and all the fans and history.Pretty cool.My unle sadly passes twenty years ago so my dad had his mod 15-2 and my uncles exact same one ,also a model 22(exacly the same but 22 cal).So I asked him what it would take for me to get my uncles gun.He said well we would have to find it.This took a little time but we found the pistol ,box, orriginal receipt, manual, and all the original brocures and stuff that came with it.Thanks Dad!I got it cleaned up cant wait to go burn some ammo!

What a great DW story, and welcome to Dan Wesson Forum. I'm originally from Michigan (Farmington) and still have family there. A Model 22 is a great way to get started into "Dan Wessonism", especially with the cost of ammunition.
I am compelled to add:
.
I beat everyone else on this one, we love to see pictures of everyones Dan Wessons.
Thanks for joining, and if you can help out with purchase date info on that Model 22 (check out our Serial Number Registry project on the upper right sidebar) we'd really appreciate getting that info, we're trying hard to reconstruct build date data on DW's.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
