Any good, name brand cleaner will work well (I use CLP), I have seen references to some people using brake fluid, I have no personal experience with this, however. You can't easily hurt a Stainless finish.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Actually Escanaba, only 1 hour away from Menominee
Dang man I used to live in Marinette for about 6 years. I know Escanaba. I worked for a company out of Stephenson Mi for about 2 years. Nice see someone close to me that's into DWA'S. Nice score there.
Back in the Good Old Days, there was a bar in Marinette called Lolly's that sold pitchers of Rum&Coke, been there, done that, WAY too many times
Lot's of folks think that the Upper Peninsula of MI should really have been the Eastern Peninsula of WI

Ha Ha, there was actually a bill in the Mich congress to send the UP to Wisc!!! I don't know why they didn't 80% of us are Packer fans anyway!
I would like to challenge someone though…I did clean the cylinder lock/latch and it is working better now. If I hold the trigger 1/2 way now the cylinder will turn then lock at every slot. However; I can still turn the cylinder with some force manually counter-clockwise. The challenge is I was hoping someone could try on their older DW large frame an see if they duplicate what mine is doing. Hold the pistol with 2 hands and grasp the cylinder with your right hand (don't touch the hammer or trigger) and see if you can turn the cyllinder counter clock-wise (opposite direction of the normal cylinder spin) it should take a little force, it won't spin freely. Please let me know.
