Hello my name is Tal, and I am new to Dan Wesson, and six guns in general. I found my way here because I just bought a Dan Wesson and i think it is a pretty rare gun. I just had to have it when I saw it lying there in the case..

Very nice Dan you have there. That is a Dove Grey satin chrome 44 mag that is part of a limited edition run of I think 500 of which yours is #218. The grips have pewter medallions. It origionally came with a certificate stating its limited run and a wood presentation case. I've got one just like it 000121. Mine lacks the case and certificate.
Did you just acquire this or have you had it? Do you have the extra goodies?
Has it ever been fired?

Tal, Welcome to the Forum! You already passed the "New Guy" test by posting pictures, and pictures of a beautiful Dan Wesson.
Feel free to post all you'd like to, and we don't talk just Dan Wesson. We have Forums for all types of Shooting, Reloading, News/Politics/Legislation.
Frankly, if you're a halfway decent photographer, your Dove Grey .44 would be a great addition to the 2013 Calendar!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

the Five seveN is quite the weapon. I really enjoy it. It is unlike any weapon i have had before. It is one hell of a lot of accurate firepower packaged in a small package.
The rounds are compact, and enabling the carrying capacity of 21-31 rds from a single mag, and large quantities to be easily carried.
With some of the available loadings already for 5.7x28 i am impressed, i cannot wait to see once ammunition becomes more mainstream the future of this cartridge.
I could see a bright future for this cartridge in varmint hunting based on it's characteristics being so flat shooting.
Recoil is basically non-existent allowing rapid, accurate followup shots as needed
The Five seveN has been flawless, as has any FN weapon i have ever known.
It was on my list as well, i just happened to buy the very first one i laid my hands on. lol
