As you can tell by my name I am always looking for hot loads, 357 or 357 Supermag and also 8mm Mauser and 444 Marlin too. So if you got some data that is smoking hot or want some data that is let me know. To give you a a hint 1486 fps. with a 180 grain with a 8 inch revolver in 357 Magnum!!! Not Supermag, MAGNUM!!! Oh yeah, it is very accurate too. Drop me a line any time for the recipe or if you think you can beat it.shooting

Welcome to DWF, we have a few very active Members that will be happy to trade loading data. Way back in the day (30 years ago) I reloaded for my DW 15-2, no chronometer, just kept pushing it up until I started scaring my self, then backed off a very little. That particular DW is still going strong.

BTW Post Pics

I love to be the first one to put that up.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Howdy.

I used to know a guy who sounds like you…liked those "hot" loads. He ended up cutting (& breaking) the top strap on an Anaconda, so be careful what you wish for.lol2

Welcome aboard!  My favorite sizzler for the 357 is to take 88gr JHP's for the 9mm and stick them in the 357...Laugh.  Never ran one across the chrono, but groundhog scale says they work!

Are you using 356 or 357 diameter? And what powder, I would assume unique or blue dot to drive such a light round. But you are right light, fast and if the bullet can stand up to it, It can be a great hunting load.shooting
