Hello, new to the forum, but I have had my Dan Wesson 22 for about 20 years. Traded a Smith 9 mm, 469 for it, a 22 in a soft side case with a 2-1/2" and a 8" barrel. I just bought a 4" barrel this past week.
Now if I could just find a 6" barrel, I would have the whole set, but that will have to wait for my "ME" fund to build back up. I haven't had much oportunity to shoot for the last 11 years, but I hoping to change that. Hope to learn more on these great guns, being on the forum.

aboard TC, that's a great looking Pac you've collected there.
I like the .22 speed loaders too, I don't see those very often.

Welcome TC. Keep an eye on GunBroker for that barrel assembly. It seems to be a good place to find DW stuff.

Welcome to the Forum. Barrels & Shrouds for .22's are much less available on auctions than the .357's. Good luck in your search.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for your welcomes. I actually bought the new barrel off of GunBroker from Jody, and followed the emails to here. I'll find a 6" one of these days and then the set will be complete, then I can start on a 715, I would really like the 4" barrel stainless 357.

Thanks, the 4" barrel is a lot more practical than the 2-1/2" and the 8". The 2-1/2 is just too short for and the 8" is too cumberson for anything but serious target shooting. I plan to shoot the DW a lot more, and leave the Ruger Mark II at home.
