Hello…I have been browsing around here for a while & thought it was time to say hi…I am new to handguns, but have been wanting to get one for some time now & have recently discovered GunBroker.com & naturally instead of buying 1, I bought 2…lol…haven't recieved either yet they are on their way…the 1st is an old High Standard Sentinel R 101 9 shot .22...some pics here:

…the 2nd is a DW 15 .357 Mag…it is somewhat scuffed up (just like me) but I hope will be a good shooter…I am posting some pics…as I said I am new to handguns but have been learning a bit from browsing DWF & elsewhere, this looks like a good place to hang out!…

ha...thanks...it is a bit deep on this side of the line...my storm door will open about a foot & 1/2...I am bonding with my wood stove...

I'm an "oldude" too, welcome to DWF. That two piece barrel tool is an old timer too (the other one is a later addition). Thanks for joining up and posting pictures.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome to the forum !!! I too have an old 9 shot Sentinel--I bet it has a million rounds through it. My dad bought it when he was 15, I grew up shooting it, and my kids shoot it.

I am in the same boat though have been shooting handguns for 40 years. Recently acquired a NIB 741-V. Can't wait to get to the range.
