hkmp5s. If that's your first DW you better make room somewhere for more. I don't have a D11 either but will someday for sure and can't help you with the s/n question. Have you removed the grips to take a look?
Someone in the nuts house will know for sure.

Howdy andto the
Congrats on your D11 score, we'd sure love to see some of that neat 'ol Porkchop when you can!
Your serial number should be stamped on the frame, under the crane...
If it's not stamped there, then you have a really early one, in which case it should be stamped on the grip tang...
I'd be interested in hearing how many digits you have, when you find 'em, too.

That's a great looking D11! Thanks for the number too, I appreciate it.
If you need an excuse to show off your "big camera" pics, we've got an official Porkchop pic thread going here…

Just a little update:
I've been working a lot and haven't had a chance to shoot anything much. This past weekend me and some friends got together and did some shooting. I left my 357 out with a couple of bags of ammo and my buddies wives found it and proceeded to shoot it and all my ammo up.
I had to pry it out of their hands. They loved the large grip and were trying to trade me for it. The ladies were in love with it for it's looks and how they could control it in their hand and how it didn't take up much room in their purse.
I've only got to shoot about 200 rounds thru it and I'm not wanting to part with it. One of the ladies is a good friend and fell in love with it and would carry it because she hasn't found a pistol thats she's happy with. She loves this one so it might just have a new owner. I hate to part ways with it but if it keeps a good friend safe then I can live with that.
Now I need to start looking for a replacement for it and you better believe it's going to be another Dan Wesson.
PS: guys don't buy your wife an air weight.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
