New to this forum but not new to DW.
Model 45-V8 bought it new back when... as soon as I found out the 45 Long Colt was available. I belive there is no substitute for a big heavy bullet.
I came upon this forum while searching the web for current information on the value of this gun. I am a gun owner but not a collector. My original uses for this gun, to hunt and target shoot is no longer a part of my life. So I will be putting "Uncle Dan" up for sale soon.
Being one of the few in this world that appreciates the
strength, and accuracy of Dan Wesson firearms, I am glad to find this place
where others do too.

I must say that a Model 45-V8 is one that's on many of our member's short lists...including mine.
Congrats on your judgement upon purchase, I can't say I've often had the forsight to make such a fine decision.
