Normally a grip screw issue....here's what you want
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

That may help. A thorough cleaning often solves a lot of 'issues' with guns that have been put up for a while. Could also need a shim to solve end shake or before that, check the aligning ball screw hasn't backed out a bit. Both could allow the cylinder to ride forward enough to cause a light strike that won't ignite the primer.

Excellent advice. My light strikes was the ball screw backing out. A good cleaning inside, tightened the crew and the Dan was back in business.
This doesn't look good! There's a small burr...hard to see but looks like the cylinders been hitting it. ## After a very thorough cleaning and some fine buffing , i did find the ball screw was backed out just about a 1/4 turn. It seems to have helped with the cylinder being a bit lose too. I'll try to get in the woods in a few days when the monsoon is over and test fire it. Thanks for the info.
