Just wanted to take a minute to say hello.   I've lusted after a Dan  Wesson 15-2V since I was a in 8th grade (1978) and today I finally found the exact model I've wanted for so many years.  It's not flawless but it is in very good condition and the price was right so now I'm a member of the Dan Wesson family :)

8th Grade, that's pretty impressive!

If I recall correctly, DW's first popped up on my radar in 1982, my 12th Grade.laugh Just behind burning rubber & high horseypower big-cube engines. I admit I often had my eyes (and attention) more drawn toward the female example of our species back then...an inexplicable weaknessscrewy which promulgated a few instances of drool (further weakness) on my part.

Anyway, so, back to today...

Yeah, I love the days of yesteryear...and congrats on landing your 15-2!occasion Got anycool-pics to share?

I know what you mean about horsepower, my dad and I build street rods and in 1982 my daily drivers were a 1936 Chevy pickup with a fully chromed 57 Vette 283 engine (which I still have and is in the middle of a complete rebuild now) and a 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible with a BUILT 340.  And yes I shared a weakness for the ladies as well too, which ultimately led me to part with the Challenger wife

I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

We do have a rule that wives are not allowed on DWF, right?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
