And the Auto shown is a ???
Clearly a Smith&Wesson?
I am a BIG S&W 39/59 fan, hugely under appreciated (and fortunately under priced).
Is that possibly a 52?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

For those not familiar with the 52, it is a very special pistol

You will rarely see one of these, and they demand a dedicated reloader/shooter to keep it happy. The last time I saw one for sale it was close to 1K with original box and magazines.
NICE gun!

Mike- Sorry I did not read your post all the way thru to see that it was a 52, they are such a special pistol that I did not believe that I was seeing one here.

It's my favorite gun 3/4 lb trigger from the factory, I shot it with irons till about 15 years ago when my eyes went bad. Back in the day I could shoot single holes at 25 yards at least one out of four targets with a stock gun. The days of shooting like that are gone. The only bad thing about it is once you find a load, brand of bullet, primer, and most important the crimp you can't change anything or it won't group. It likes what it likes.
