A revolver that's a boomerang!
Haven't seen one up for sale in a while:

Answer to post 24: this is a DW model 14-1 made in 1974. The adjustable sight version is a 15-1. The grips are not original (very likely Hogue), but the rest of the revolver looks original and in nice condition. These are very good shooters, and slightly rare since they were only made for basically one year. Happy shooting!!

Thank you for the help, great to finally know! have the original grips, too. About what is a DW like this, worth? 400-ish?

Very difficult to pin down the value. To the right buyer, who might be trying to complete his DW collection, it could bring north of 500, but it could take awhile. If you haven’t taken it to the range yet, please do. You won’t be disappointed!! Here’s a photo of my 15-1. I’ll be shooting an IHMSA match with it tomorrow!
