Hello from Michigan. New member to the forum and as of today a new Commander Bobtail owner. Don't own any Dan Wesson revolvers (yet), But today I finally bought a Commander Bobtail. I have been lusting after this gun for about a year. Finally ordered one the day after Christmas, and it came in today.
I am retired (motorcycle sales) so I have lots of time to shoot, but not enough money for ammo. (sound familiar?) Most all my guns are "bottom feeders", althou I do have a couple of revolvers. (not Dan Wessons).
We the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so litle for so long, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

Congratulations, I think the CBOB is a fine pistol, and is on my list as a future "must have". The cost of ammo is a little frustrating, over the past 18 months I have drastically increased the amount of shooting I do with my .22 lr pistols. Once I started approaching more of that time as serious practice, rather than just plinking, my shooting skills really improved with every pistol. Welcome to the Forum.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
