Hi, I recently bought a used Dan Wesson 22LR revolver that came with 3 barrels. I've been mostly interested in accurate target 22's and Thompson Contenders. I am very impressed with the fit, finish and amazing accuracy of my new DW revolver. My new firearm goal is to find one of these revolvers in 32 cal. Cheers, Gary

Gary, welcome and good news. The Creme de La Creme of 32 mag Dans is on GUNBROKER right now. It is a IHMSA Field Pistol NOS. The only reason I am telling you is that I have mine. Haha. You may already know. I suspect the bidding will be spirited. These don't show up very often. Again, welcome aboard.

Thanks for the info! I checked it out and looked at completed listings for .32 mags. I have a lot to learn about DW pistols! I did not realize the 32 mags were so pricey. I also just read somewhere that they also made them in 32-20.
I think a 32 contender barrel may be more my speed but I will never stop looking for a smoking deal on one. I read an old thread on another board a few days ago where one was being offered for $395 in 2008, that's what got me looking.

Yes the 32-20 exists and is more scarse than the 32 H&R mag. There is even a 732-20 if you can find them. I really like the 32 mag in the small frame DW platform, it's so comfortable to shoot and is very accurate. Probably the ideal caliber for the small frame IMO.
They do command a pretty penny, glad I got mine a while back.

I told you I had a Field Pistol pack. Well, I also have a NOS 32 - 20 cylinder I can trade out if I decide to shoot it. A fellow was selling several of them a while back and I grabbed one. Oh, a forum member I won't name just found a LNIB 32 mag in his home town for 600. So don't give up hope.
