Hello the forum.

I just got my first Dan Wesson at 55 years old.

It's kind of funny how it worked out I was diagnosed. with Acute myloid leukemia in August of 2019 and was all but dead when I got to the hospital. Got treatment and was told in March that I was cancer free praise the Lord.

So I had decided to buy me a beat cancers a$$ gun and thought it would be a Colt Python. when looking on Gun Broker i came across a Dan and as my brother had had a 44 that I liked I decided to buy a 357 because the 44 are high and not easy to find.

So here is what I bought. I haven't got to shoot it yet as i just picked it up a few minutes ago and wanted to get on here and introduce myself and post a pic or two of it.

The only thing I can find with a date is the brousher and it is 03/1978.

The action is tight and gun does not show much in the way of use (no marks on the recoil shield) it does however have a few handling marks and the 4" barrel got a few dings in transit from the seller thanks to UPS but I'm still happy with it.

If you have read this far thank for letting me be a part.of this great forum I have been doing much research since I bought the revolver and this is a great forum with wonderful people for help.

Thanks again Sam aka NobodyDunit

Good to have you on the DWF.  Sounds like a case of dwas may be hanging around your place... the only cure is to open the wallet.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

dwf-welcome to the forum! Very nice pistol pack!

I'm also recovering from cancer, but not there yet. Haven't decided on my reward when the time comes.

Welcome from Ocala, Fl. I would recommend a 32 mag Field Pistol pack. And of course a 357 supermag. And an early porkchop with a 21/4" barrel. For startersdwas

Welcome to the forum! Glad to hear you were able to beat that horrible disease. That's a great looking PAC. I'm gonna agree with the other folks who said that this won't be your last DW purchase. Thanks for the pictures. Enjoy the forum!

Welcome , glad to hear that you beat the cancer. I lived in Jonesboro for a handful of years when I was a kid.
