Hello, I am a new member to the forum from East Tennessee but not new to Dan Wesson. I bought mine back in 1978. I found the forum not long ago and it has renewed my interest again. I have been shooting it over the years but as of late it has become a closet queen. I have a 15-2 with a 6" barrel, I would like to change the barrel to a 2" and use it for my new carry gun. Can anyone help with information as to which holsters are best and about getting a 2" barrel. Thanks in advance for any information.

Welcome to the forum... always good to get another marker on the south side of the Mason Dixon.
I can't speak to holsters.. but barrels should not be an issue:
Order on from CZ-USA (actually from the Norwich plant)
Watch for one on Gunbroker ( http://www.gunbroker.com)
If you got a little time or very own EWK Arms will be offering third party barrels and shrouds! .. Link to his site is right over there abouts ------------->
By the way the boys here love pictures. And if you bought that gun new, we sure would love for you to participate in the registry. Seems th Feds locked away all the orginal stats.. so we are building our own.
Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box
in that order.
4 Monson Model 15's
1 Palmer FB 15
1 Rossi 357 Model 92 (lever)
1 CZ 75B
Welcome to the forum!
As Pinetor noted you should be able to find a 2.5" barrel assembly on GunBroker. It will probably be cheaper than buying an new one plus it will match what you have. The new shrouds are laser etched with the caliber instead of stamped / roll marked like the old ones.
If you decide to order a new one call Dan Wesson in Norwich directly. Here is their contact info. This will allow you to bypass CZ and if you have issues you can go directly to the source.
Hope you enjoy the site!

Welcome to DWF, good to have you here.
It looks like you're an original owner, would you mind helping us to expand the Serial Number Registry info? There is a link on the right sidebar, any assistance is appreciated.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
