Welcome to DWF.

Your Heritage is a full size 1911, and there is a huge range of holsters available. If you provide more info about your intended use (field carry, CCW, deep concealment, ...) we can help a little more.

I personally use DeSantis holsters, largely because they are very available in my local gun shops.

I will also suggest you go HERE for great information on 1911's in general, and DW 1911's in particular.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Be sure to follow the break in instructions and use the supplied oil or FP10 to prevent galling of the stainless and slide seizure.  Also use factory ball ammo for the first 500 rounds before using hollow points.  Great gun, enjoy!

I use THIS

And THIS

The Don Hume is more of a CCW holster

Also, the only belts I own for work and casual wear are DeSantis, very durable and substantial enough to support a holster as needed.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
