Hi all,
I have had a DW revolver (44 magnum) for about 6 months but have just gotten around to shooting it. I've always enjoyed shooting pistols, 45s mainly, but I'm thinking this DW is going to be one of my favorites. All my children have just finished an NRA basic handgun course and now they're correcting my shooting skills. So I've signed us all up as members of a local gun club so they'll have better shooters than I to compete with. I need tons of advice about Dan Wesson revolvers and pistols and after cruising around on this sight for a few months I think I can get it here.

Horseman- This is about the best place you'll find for DW help. I had a Model 44 pass thru my hands recently (about 100 rounds worth) while it was on it's way to my son, and I really liked it (my only .44 mag experience). Since you're a 1911 guy, Dan Wesson has some really great 1911 offerings too, if you have a chance to check one out someday.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
