DW 44V with a six inch standard barrel/shroud, a 6 inch SS ported barrel and a 10 inch barrel with a 3x Burris scope. I bought it in 1987 for $150 with the two 6 inch barrels, a holster, set of reloading dies and a box of shells. I added the 10 inch barrel/Burris 3x scope a couple of years later for about another $150. Was living in Colorado then and carried it in the Rockies bow hunting for elk for about 5 years. It's just back from the gunsmith having it re-timed. I've had the gun for 25 years, shot literally thousands and thousands of rounds through it and this is the first work that's needed to be done.

Welcome to DWF, you got a great deal on a great gun. I'm sure you know by now to scrub out the shroud thoroughly after shooting with the power control barrel, a LOT of crud collects inside the shroud from that "ported" barrel.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yeppers...The shrouds get a quick run-through even if I'm not using the ported barrel and a thorough cleaning if I am. I've found through the years that, if you properly maintain any quality piece of machinery, you can get decades more service out of it.

Welcome!
You seeing the pics and reading the intro ( thanks for both BTW) I have to say that gun just seems to have a ton of character. The solidly pronounced turn ring, is like a twinkle in the eye. I need to shoot more just so mine will have as much character.
