Greetings from North Georgia!
I'm very thankful to find this site and all the knowledge that it contains from contributors. Ashamed to admit that I've had a 722M for many years, stashed in the back of my safe. I say 722M but no box and I cannot find a model number on this gun. The crane and inside the frame are rough castings with the machining where the cylinder mates with the frame. If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it. I also have a 2" barrel that's marked 22 LR that appears to be newer than the gun.

Good to have you on the DWF. The model is 722M and the SN# is only 12 numbers newer than mine so it's probably always been a magnum. The extra barrel is a CZ offering, I believe, as it appears laser etched and not in the font that Eric stamped his barrels.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
