Hello All,
I just bought my first Dan Wesson today. I drove 4 hours one way to take a look(drool) at and buy a Blued Dan Wesson in 45 Colt. It wears 8 inch/Vented Rib/Full Lug Barrel. Unfortunately no box or tools. The only bad part is I had to have it shipped to my FFL. I'm looking forward to gathering knowledge here on my new acquisition. Thanks. Boats

You have acquired one of the most sought after models. You are a very lucky fellow. Of course, it is better to be lucky than good. I am sure you are good too though. Although being good won't find you a 45. DW 45 can handle Big Boar loads equal to stout 44 mag. The ones that say Ruger only. It is MHO that Dans are tougher than Rugers.
