Just purchased a older Dan Wesson .22 8" revolver. I didn't know much about it till after the purchase. I did a little research and found this web site. I am learning more everyday. Glad to find others with knowledge to share. Leo1956

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

Welcome to DWF. A .22 is a nice find, lots of guys here would like to get one. I use the .22 first for new shooters, then move them up to .38 and then .357 in a Model 15-2/715. Nice transition for the shooter, it's the same revolver, just a little more "thump" each step up the ladder.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I'd be up for that...assuming I actually have two nickels to rub together at the time.Embarassed I'm glad I got a good portion ofDWAS out of my system last year, because this year is sure a whole lot more lean. Hopefully that changes soon.
