 Hello everyone !

I have rejoined the Dan Wesson Revolver family !  I owned a .357 Pistol Pack in the early 80's and had to sell - regretted it ever since. I have just gotten a replacement .357, 6 in. heavy shroud, vent rib in fine shape. I can't wait to get out to the range and check it out. Although it's been a long time since I've handled a DW, the minute I picked this one up I knew I had to buy it. The feel is second to none, IMHO.

Hey Max,

Welcome back to the DW family and to the DW Forum!  Just something about a DW revolver that makes you want more!

I have a few S&W's and a Colt Trooper III and none of them appeal to me like a good Dan Wesson revolver.

Again welcome!

Jody

Thanks Jody ! I just got my DW TODAY !  I just took pics of it and want to post them in "Post pics" section.I hope to find a 4in and 8in barrel / shroud assy soon.

I also have a few Rugers, a .32-20 Smith & Wesson from my Grandfather (with original box of ammo he bought) as well as a nice Winchester Mod 12.

Welcome Max!

I have a pretty similar story from right about the same time.  Bought a 15-2 Pistol Pac in 1980 and sold it for some $'s it to finish school - seems like dollars went a little farther back then...always wanted to replace it and did!

Nothing quite like a Dan Wesson - although that .32-20 Smith sounds like a unique collectable!

This is a terrific forum, glad to have you on board!

Yeah, the Smith and Wesson is a nice little revolver. It is nickel plated but has it's rough spots. I have shot it before but have decided it's ok to just let it sit in my safe and take it easy for a while. I've had a few offers from collectors to buy it, but I keep it for the personal family keepsake valueit has for me.
