Hello everyone, glad to be a part of this forum. Just recently purchased my first Dan Wesson, a 1981 15-2 6" blue. I find these model specific forums to be really valuable sources of info, as I have found with the Colt and S&W forums that I belong to also. Looking forward to exploring the forum and increasing my knowledge of Dan Wesson firearms.

You started out with what is probably the most common "first" DW, a 15-2 6", well done!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've already begun looking around for perhaps an additional barrel. Leaning towards an 8", as my S&W models 29 and 27 have those. I need some advice on a barrel wrench but I'll post that in the revolver forum.
