Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of info here. Others that come along will be able to direct you to certain threads discussing the problem. One thing to do is to give your gun the."Average Joe Tuneup ". The discussion is pinned under Gunsmithing I think. It is a step by step tutorial on cleaning and troubleshooting your Dan. It could be that someone put in a 71/2 lb Wolff mainspring. It may need a new firing pin spring. The small parts kit from EWK contains one and it is a good idea to put in all the new small parts. It is unbelievably easy to work on your Dan. Once you do the tuneup you will be an old pro. I suspect it may just need a cleaning.

If the problem doesn't go away after you follow Ole Dog's recommendations, then you might need a shim or two in front of the cylinder to reduce forward movement of the cylinder when locked up and fired.
