Howdy. I inherited what I believe to be a model 15 and I think it has a plastic grip on it. I found a wood grip on Ebay and I am looking forward to shooting with it. I am a blue and walnut guy.
It is my largest caliber gun and fun shooting so far. It (like most of my good pistols) seems to shoot better than I can. 🙂

Ebay and gunbroker are your best sources for grips. Hogue makes very nice aftermarket wood and rubber grips also.
