I'm a new Dan Wesson owner but had the opportunity to shoot my brother-in-law's .44 when I was a teenager in the late 70's early 80's. It was the sweetest thing I'd ever shot. When I came across this .357 stainless in my local gun shop about a month ago it was a no brainer. Best I can tell from the info on the site, it's a 714 target. Hasn't been shot very much. I found a Bianchi holster for a Colt Python hoping it would fit. It fit's perfect. Nice patina and wear but still in good shape. Glad to be part of the Dan Wesson family.

Welcome to the forum from PA! Nice score there, oh and it's a 715 since it has adjustable sights. The 14/714 have fixed target sights and the rib on the shroud is milled down more than the 715.
Is your screen name short for DevilDog by any chance?

Yeah, it's short for DevilDog.
I found it for just $525.00. Couldn't pass it up. I'd been looking for a backup sidearm for pig hunts.
