I'm new to the forum and new to revolvers. Been around rifles, shotguns, and semi-auto pistols for much of my 58 years but just now taking an interest in the Dan Wesson Model 15-2. My father is in his late 80s and a few years ago he asked me to help him sell a 15-2 with the 8" barrel as he no longer had a use for it - he used to carry it as a sidearm when deer hunting. After he retired and his mobility limited his ability to hunt he was ready to give up the pistol as he had his old reliable Browning Hi-Power at home in the night stand "just in case". He offered the Dan Wesson 15-2 to me at the time but my 3 semi-auto pistols were all I thought I needed so I helped him sell it to a buddy of mine that collects guns. Now it's a few years later and my Dad can't work the action on the Browning Hi-Power because his hand strength has diminished. He told me a few weeks ago "I wish I hadn't gotten rid of that Dan Wesson revolver". Fortunately for my family, my buddy still had the gun and he sold it back to me for what he paid my Dad for it. I think it'll make for a good Father's Day gift for my Dad this year. I'm here to learn more at the Dan Wesson 15-2 as some day I'll likely inherit one!

Welcome from Wisconsin!
Dan Wesson's are awesome revolvers and the 15-2V and 15-2VH have adjustable rear sight where 14 is a a fixed sight. Love the interchangeable barrel feature on the Dan's that is what hooked me, that and the fact they are a cross between artwork and engineering to me. You have come to the right place to learn about them the members are very knowledgeable and friendly.
