I am from Norway, i live by the lake Mjøsa.
I found my Dan Wesson with a 8" barrel in a gun shop that mostly sells rifles/shotguns. I can tell that it has been waiting there for some time because the box that it was stored in had 2mm of dust on it. It left the shop with me, i payed 253.8 USD = 1500 NOK for it.
Some of the bluening on it are worn away; a tiny bit under the muzzle and a bit on the forward edge of the tun. It looks like the wear under the muzzle is from the previous owner resting the muzzle on the bench between shots.

and congrats on the find on that great caliber. We would like some pics when you get a chance and of course a range report. On your other post, I do not know what you should expect at 100-yards, that would depend on a lot of variables, such as iron sights vs. optics, bench rested vs. held and most of all ability. My eyes don't work that well that far without optics.

Welcome to DWF, it's sounds like you got a great price on a fine revolver. Anyone on this Forum would snap up a Supermag for $240 in an instant.
