From the S/N it is definitely originally a stainless gun. As I look at the pictures, it certainly looks like a refinished gun, if the shrouds were factory they would be a glossy blued finish, the only other factory finish would have been a dull satin blue, but this would have been a very unlikely option.
All that being said, I really like two-tone guns, and yours is pretty nice.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks! From my view I would be more inclined to think these shroud, somehow, left the factory without a glossy polish before I would consider them refinished. The reason I say that is from the perfect condition of the front sight screws and pins on all 4 using a magnifying glass. The pins/screws look 100% never touched yet sharply defined as do the holes. All are perfectly flush on the left and recessed .001+ on the right. The PP came with a dozen white, yellow and red sights and their finish/color is an EXACT match to the barrels but inserts look/act to have never been moved.
Rear sight has the maroon fade except for the blade that matches the frame's blued finish. IDK, one heck of a job if a refinish and why blue a SS frame in great condition?

Thanks for the title change. I'm thinking someone ran across the Yukon-finish barrels and pieced together a "pistol pac".
But why blue a stainless frame in excellent condition? Would blued SS look identical to blued steel?

Looking at this one I see that all the BA's match lights non vented that tells me they were together from factory. With these being special order this may have been one of them! oh heck loaded it in the truck and drive north!
Dave_Ks--Thanks for the info. This just may be a strange PP order:
--Yukon finish barrels, check
--High-Polished blued stainless steel frame, check
--White SS cylinder/yoke, check
I'm having the whole thing Cerakoted Desert Camo....jk

Would blued SS look identical to blued steel?I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure they can't apply regular bluing to stainless & have it come out looking near normal. That's why stainless is usually coated in another fashion.
Thanks CF. That's what I was thinking also. To my eyes, I would believe this frame was incorrectly roll-stamped at the factory before I would guess refinished. If it's a refinish, they matched or bettered the factory and on SS no less.
