Hi all,

Wanted to introduce myself.

I bought my Dan Wesson W-12 in late 70/early 71 at Fed Mart (long since closed) in Garland Texas.

It has always suffered from light strikes in DA, sent it in for warranty repair and was tole there was nothing wrong with it.

Relegated it to the safe for many years----

Saw your FAQ and loosened grip screw and------it now works great!!!!!

Feels like I now have a new gun!

Glad I found you folks---

Colin- Welcome to DWF!

Something you need to know:

post-pics

We have seen hundreds(or more) DW's, but we haven't seen yours

AND, Glad you found us.

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Beautiful. I bought a model 12 thinking those big beautiful sights would help my shooting. Haha. Trifocal lens for front sight distance is what DID help. You have a nicely figured target grip. I recommend getting a Pachmyer Presentation grip so you keep the wood grip in fine shape. JMHO.

Hi Colin. Thanks for sharing your story and the pics. Welcome from the other side of the Trinity.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?
