High everybody just started doing target shooting. After alot of snooping and reading I ordered a new PM 7. I will pick it up this Friday, can't wait. I think I made the right choice over a Kimber Team match and a Springfield Loaded. Will be interested in talking with anyone on the PM 7. I also started shooting 22 and use a Browning Medalist I love this gun and hope I am as happy with the PM 7.

Welcome to the Forum. I have a PM7 that I bought used, my second 1911. It is an absolute tack driver, everything I wanted in a second 1911. Mine has a Jarvis barrel, and is scary accurate when I do my part. It's a little ammo sensitive, I have been advised that it was possibly used in and set up for competition, so I'm going to change out the springs to factory spec. I have DW revolvers (one is my first ever pistol going back 30 years) but we need more 1911 guys here too. Not to send you off forum, but 1911.org has a Dan Wesson forum with some pretty knowledgeable members

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
