Hey everyone, 

I just became acquainted with DW revolvers in the last few days and am looking to pick one up in a trade. Naturally the mystery that surrounds these old revolvers led me here for some answers! I am currently in physician assistant school in Georgia and am a few months from graduation an being able to afford to really love guns. So here's how I got started with DW. I posted an add on armslist.com for a trade. I have a S&W Shield but don't plan to hang on to it since it's .40 SW. A local guy offered his model 14 for a trade and I have been drooling over it ever since, although I can't help but feel just a little hesitant. I am a revolver guy at heart. It's just the lack of concrete pricing for old DW's that is holding me back. I will post the rest of the details in another thread. Thanks for putting this all together to help guys like me out.
