Hi all, I recently re-acquired a 22 revolver that belonged to my dad. It needs some work but its still in great shape. Several years ago the barrel had rusted so I buffed it clean and used some metal sealer on it, it seems to have held up well. Now Im in the process of cleaning it up and looking for someone to reblue the whole gun. I posted in the revolver section and a few ppl suggested posting some pics here, so here they are:

We've got a member here, who used to do the bluing for DW when they were new. Nowdays, he's got a nice rebluing service going...here's his info.

Thanks for the photos, and I want you guys to know that Dezmo found a receipt that helps us date this early (1979) Model 22 for the Registry.
I threw a doubletake when I saw the shroud, and I understand what's going on there. I'd do the same thing to the cylinder, seal that as well, and have a very striking two-tone, but I think two tone guns are cool if done this well.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

had a chance to take it by the range today and put 100rds thru it. Brought back lots of memories. As usual, I got a few laughs from ppl when they see this huge gun fire and go *pop* without even showing recoil. I left it at the shop to get an estimate on a polish/reblue. I also emailed hotbluer, havent heard back from him yet.
Thanks guys for the warm welcome, Ill be sure to post after shots when the bluing is done.
