Bought a used DW 357 Mag with 6 inch barrel some 20 years ago but only occassionally shot it, probably 500-600 rounds during that time. Started learning bullseye shoot recently and have been firing more frequently.  Have a cattle farm and have a place set up where I can step outside of the house and shoot when I have a chance.

Welcome to DWF, it must be great to step out the back door to shoot Laugh

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome from a fellow newbie. I too have the luxury of stepping out my back door and shooting...3 acres of hillside & trees that serve as a backstop Big Grin. Gotta love that country living!

Welcome to the forum.  I'm relatively new here too.  I think you will find this bunch of guys nothing but first class and always ready to help.

I too live where I can shoot on my property.  When we built our house they piled the dirt from the basement in the back yard next to the woods.  Makes a great firing range.  Then there are the coyotes and armadillos that make pretty good targets.shooting

Wisdom is merely the realization of how little one knows, therefore I am wise.

Hello, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have a nice place to shoot, I need to move, I live in the city and the police get upset with folks shooting in the backyard. LOL

I'd love to shoot from my back porch! Then I wouldn't have to pack up all my stuff & drive the 3/4 mile or so, to my current hillside firing range.Laugh
