When it comes to revolvers, I've always been a dyed-in-the-wool S&W guy. That being said, the Dan Wesson Pistol Pack has been on my bucket list since I bothered to keep a bucket list. Yesterday I scratched that itch. I'm happy with what I got so far, but of course I'd like to complete the set. I have the 8 and 6" barrels, now I'm on the hunt for the 4 and 2 1/2". I tried EWK, but it appears they only offer the EH barrels and I need the VH. I'd also like to toss these gawd-awful rubber grips and find some proper wood stocks. I prefer original to custom, but I have no idea yet how scarce they may be. I'm happy to finally be among the DW owners and looking forward to learning a thing or two.

Welcome aboard and that's a beauty of a Monson 15-2. You can check the serial # registry to get an idea of age. I suggest you not use the DW barrel nut tool and buy one from EWK. For quality wood grips check out LB Custom Grips on the side panel. I have 3 different grips from him and they are beauties. Keep an eye out on Gun Broker and eBay for barrel assemblies.
Hope those S&Ws aren't going to mind becoming safe queens, because once you fire that bad boy you will be hooked!
To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:
if you find one...what's your plan?

eBay will be your most readily available source for both DW original grips and B/A's.
Please note the absence of the words "reasonably priced" in the above suggestion.
Gun Broker also offer these kinds of items, again, there will not be any "Flashing Blue Light Specials" available.
BTW- That is a beautiful looking gun, Welcome to DWF
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
