Hi everyone:
Im new to revolvers, so far I own a small Colt and several S&W's. When I was a kid my father raved about DW's, and that is basically everything I know about DW handguns. A couple of days ago i bought a blue DW mag with a 6" barrel and what I gather from other threads is a heavy shroud. Besides a scratch at the barrel the gun is very very good condition. I paid $600.00 for it, regardless it was a good deal or not Im very happy i got this bad boy. Im looking forward to learn all I can about this gun.
Thanks,
J

Welcome to the forum Juan. Take your Dan out to the range and I'm betting you will feel the same as you father. You will never regret what you paid for it. Show us some photos of your new Dan. If you do not already have a barrel tool and gap gauge then you need them. Check out EWK Arms (on the right side of the page). They have the best stuff.
These guns are easy to take apart and put back together, so don't hesitate to check it out thoroughly to be sure it's clean inside & out. Check out this link and the other info at Reloading, Gunsmithing & Grips:

And this link at Revolvers:
They will get you started on the learning trail.

This link is for the small frame, looks like Juan has a .44
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
