Hello My name is Mike and I'm from Springfield, MO. I recently got a Dan Wesson .44 mag and was curious about its history. 8" ported barrel, blued, and the serial number is BO22283. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.20181124_121706.jpgImage Enlarger

Thanks everyone.

I was mainly wanting to know the manufacture date, model number, and a rough value. Got it on a trade and am curious. Hopefully I'll be shooting it soon 🙂

The Model of your .44 is 44....

No records are available from the various Dan Wesson companies, and we rely on records/recollections of original purchasers, paperwork retained with the pistol, dated barrel wrappers, etc. to determine an approximate date of manufacture. That SN makes it c. 84-85. Value is ~ $550-650, depending on cleanliness, functionality, condition, grips, etc...

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
