hey everybody , just bought my first revolver , and as far as I can make out its a service one , will upload pics soon ..

I own a few semi automatics , sig p226, glock 17, and a gsg 1911.22

always wanted a 357 ..

worked as a firefighter for 16 years before being involved in a head on vehicle crash , resulting in me losing my right leg above the knee ... and no more riding around in fire trucks , I am still employed by the fire servce tho and am about to hit 20 years in the job .

cant wait to read and learn way more about my new purchase

cheers

Welcome, Stumpy. There's certainly plenty of info here to keep you up at night for many nights.laughIt's amazing what you can learn. You bought the best revolver out there and once you start shooting it you will catch DWAS and that's a good thing. More fun than a human being has a right to have!

Post some pics and a range report as soon as you can. The rest of us love that stuff. drool

Welcome to forum Stumpy. I have to say that, after what you went through, to give yourself that nickname says a lot about you. I'd wager there's no quit in this particular Kiwi!

Since you found us, I'm assuming that first wheel gun is a Dan Wesson. I look forward to seeing the pictures. In the meantime, give us what info you have on your new acquisition and I guarantee this well informed group will give you a ton of information.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?
