My name is Mike Ryan.  I'm located in Livingston County about 30 minutes south of Flint, Michigan.  A couple of my customers told me about this site.   I am a full time gunsmith and they thought I might be able to help out with some of my experiences and maybe learn a thing or two as well.

Hey, welcome aboard!

We can definitely use a gunsmith around here, to set us straight on issues we may have with our guns.Laugh

From a gunsmith point of view, are Dan Wesson's generally easier to work on than say Colt's or S&W's, or harder...or maybe equal? Just something I've pondered from time to time. LOL!

Welcome to the forum Mike!

Do you have any DW's?  If so what do you have... Also do you have a speciality?

Always nice having gunsmith's visiting the forum.  I think being a gunsmith would be my dream job!

Howdy Mike - glad to have you as part of the forum.

We just had a fellow who's going to Gunsmith school join up a couple weeks back.  Great to have the expertise on board!

The more time I spend with my handguns (particularly the autos) the more I appreciate the engineering / mechanical / machining knack a gunsmith needs.

If you've got some Dan Wessons we would love to see a picture or two.

Welcome!

-Dusty

Welcome Mike! Some Dan Wesson trigger tuning tips would be a good start, if you have any.
