So I've been on here a couple of weeks and only just now getting a chance to introduce myself.  I'm Martin in Atlanta GA.  I have been shooting on and off (mostly off) since I was a kid.  Shot IHMSA in high school with a DW .44mag which I have just pulled out of the closet after 20 years and begun to shoot again.  So far only visiting a couple of local indoor ranges.

I'd be interested in meeting/participating in local IHMSA or other suitable competitition.  I don't hunt, not from any ethical or moral stance (animals are tasty) its just a PITA from my perspective.  My interests are really in competitive shooting, I miss and want to redevelop the focus and discipline it takes to really be competitive.

Along with the .44 with 8" VH shround and three barrels I also have a 8" VH .22 of the same vintage.

Also interested in reloading and possibly home gunsmithing (I'm a tinkerer by nature).

ah gotcha.  Weapon has two drawbacks from my perspective, its snub nose and fixed sights.  🙂  Thanks anyway.

Now, a nice .45 and .22 pair as a starter bullseye kit I'd be interested in.

Welcome to DWF Sign n.paperman!

Great site here, lots of good folks and a ton of info. I've been shooting silhouette non-stop since 1985...it's still as much fun today is it was when I started. Let's see some pics of those Dan Wessons when you get around to it.

BTW, for some reason, my computer won't let me read ANY PMs, so if you would post your question to me on one of the forums, or e-mail it to my, I can answer it then.

Actually I need to qualify the hunting statement, I'll casually pheasant, rabbit, quail etc if someone/machine is available to clean 'em for me 🙂

I need a cigarette lol

Welcome to DWF. I personally am a very avid paper hunter, and have caused the valiant death of more paper targets than you can count.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
