Hi,
i'm Chris and i am a new/old owner...i'll explain. About 25 years ago i bought my then girlfriend now wife a Dan Wesson .357(i'm guessing model 15-2) with 8" and 2" barrels. Later i bought her a 4" barrel and a cool guy case with cut outs for the barrels. Sadly about 5 years ago we sold it to a friend and i thought i'd never see it again although i told my friend that we would buy it back anytime...he said not to count on it. Well come Christmas yesterday i get a gift box from my wife with a card that said "what was once mine will now be yours" So i'm thinking she giving me her ipod touch (long story in itself) and i open the little gift box and there is a lone .357 round in it. She then slides a big box over with a even bigger smile on her face. i open it up and there is her old/my new Model 15-2 .357 V8(4,2). What a Christmas...i've been out of the game for a while but will be back very soon!

Welcome to DWF. Not to get off topic by a lot (not ME!) we have two great New Member stories this year:
1) Fisherman's wonderful wife who reunited him with his original Dan Wesson
2) MarineDad and his son, a Marine serving in Iraq, who recreated his Dad's long gone 715, with a little help from his friends
Ahhh, Christmas.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
